ASME business meeting comes to Minneapolis

The next ASME business meeting will take place June 2, during the Summer Annual Meeting (SAM) in Minneapolis.

Members of ASME's Nominating Committee will be elected during the business meeting. Committee members, who represent ASME's five councils for a two-year term, nominate candidates for the offices of ASME vice presidents, members of the Board of Governors and ASME president.

ASME President William A. Weiblen will call the meeting to order at 5 p.m. Following his 2001-02 State of the Society address, Weiblen will announce the location and dates of the 2002 International Mechanical Engineering Congress and Exposition and the 2003 SAM.
